Abbey Street Music offers music lessons for all ages and abilities and can tailor a plan to suit your goals and aspirations for learning music.
Although instruments are available, all students are required to provide their own for home practice. I recommend Black Dot Music in Armidale who have beginner instruments at reasonable prices, or search Marketplace, Gumtree or Ebay for second-hand instruments.
Abbey Street Music is not a music retailer, however we have a limited range of music accessories such as guitar strings and plectrums, tuners, instrument leads, stands, drumsticks and practice pads available for sale at reasonable prices.
If a student is unable to attend a lesson for any reason and at least 2 hours notice is given, I am happy to provide a credit for the following term or a catch-up lesson if a suitable time can be arranged. If for any reason I am unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a catch-up lesson or credit for the following term can be arranged. To cancel a lesson, contact Peter at Abbey Street Music as soon as possible on 0417 376 733. If advance notice is not received, the student will forfeit the lesson and no make up lesson will be offered.
Just bring yourself and your instrument! In the first lesson we discuss what you'd like to achieve with your lessons, the most appropriate method for learning your instrument and get your musical journey underway with a range of suitable learning materials and demonstrations.
